At most, Social Security Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits are capped at the Federal Benefit Rate (FBR).
This amount can change from year to year. In 2012, the SSI Federal Benefit Rate is increasing to $698 for individuals and $1,048 for couples (up from $674 and $1,011 respectively).
